Pop Music Getting Exponentially Dumber

You just can’t get away from it; it’s at the gym, the lyrics are plain stupid, the chord progressions keep repeating over and over, and all the hipstahs be like “rock on.” I’d like to say it gets better in church, but … well, we’re not going to touch that.

Even millennials are often astounded when you remove the lyrics from the song, and just kind of think about them for – like two seconds:

Heard at the gym today in stupid millennial lyrics: “Girl I wanna let you down… Do you know what I mean? Girl I wanna let you down. Girl I wanna let you down.”

“I’m not aware of too many things; I know what I know if you know what I mean…”

“Let’s kiss and then take off our clothes.”(repeated a million times) Yeah, you don’t really want this happening at the gym.
