Bible Church Banning Verses

I have an honest question for you, and I want to know your thoughts.

If God places a verse on your heart to share with members of your Bible-believing fellowship – and by Bible I mean the whole 66 books –

Is it ever right for the elders of a Bible church to ban you from quoting the verse? Is there any conceivable situation where a member ought be prohibited from sharing a verse God has placed on his heart to share?
