The clock is ticking. According to all the FakeNews sources online, Mike’s Place is dead and gone forever. And yet – there’s a chance – a chance – that Mike’s Place might re-open.

Source X has equipment at Mike’s. He declined to be interviewed because he’s an integral part of the Mike’s Place supply chain, and doesn’t want to lose big if things don’t pan out as expected. We’re making every attempt to protect Source X here, and we’re pulling for him.

Source X confirmed that Mike’s Place is attempting to re-open, but wouldn’t say who will be leading Mikes if it does come back.

The store hasn’t paid its roughly 40 employees, or vendors like Source X. But if Source X is any indication – there might be a chance that Mike’s Place might survive what appears to have been some irresponsible stewards.

This latest tip from Source X would seem to corroborate what Vittoria the counter girl previously reported, and possibly the “Second Mohammed” silent partner whom Vittoria says had entrusted Adnan Azeem and Javed “Muhammed” to run the operation at the time it closed.

A text from Adnan to employees before they began declining requests for pay read, “We don’t know when we will reopen.” Vittoria says Javed and Adnan are, at this point, back in Pakistan, but that the other manager, Mohammed #2, shares both the two manager’s home country and religion.

Both Adnan Azeem and Javed “Muhammed” were unreachable by phone and by text at the time of this publication. The person who picked up at Adnan’s “Work Number” in Rhode Island said that while he was involved with Mike’s Place, he was unable to provide any details.
