Panera Brings Back Blackberry Hibiscus To The Summer Hydration Wars

Unlike the other herbal iced tea for winter which is slightly sweetened with an obscure low-calorie natural sweetener, the BlackBerry Hibiscus lets you pick your own.

I like to bring my own Stevia, but it gets the job done just the way it is.

The change-up is kind of nice, and I believe Starbucks is sticking with their similar herbal-iced selection, which is also unsweetened: the Passion Tango which includes hibiscus. Both are eligible for free refills, but only Panera offers the subscription Sip Club for unlimited drinks. Both refill programs allow you to alternate between hot and cold drinks, however, at Panera, with the Sip Club, you have to wait a minimum of two hours before changing up your drink.

Good luck not ordering anything.

We previously wrote about Panera here: https://www.americasmansman.com/luxembourg-based-paneras-slow-steady-bread-letting/ – although it’s possible they might simply be recovering from a post-Chinavirus slump.

Not a Christian company by a long shot, but neither is Starbucks, but hey, at its worst, neither is Chick-fil-A.
