The Atlantic Has Got Career “De-escalation Wrong”
The Atlantic, long trusted by the FakeNews for its reliable atheism rooted in Gen-X-y cynicism nurtured in a chronically cerebral and detached existential prison of the mind, its not-so-subtle “all-is-lost” defeatist cowardism is on full display in this article telling old fogies to just quit.
I’m all for knowing your limits, but this article from the Atlantic doesn’t just tell all folks over a certain age to just throw in the towel; it tells them to prepare to throw in the towel, and that they’re going to lose. And yes, there is wisdom in preparation for the inevitable death we all face someday; but this article goes too far.
One can’t help but feel sorry for the depressed, self-loathing writers at the Atlantic who likely believe in this most pernicious, malignant form of defeatism, and the death of the human soul, which perhaps is humanity’s most formidable enemy, the voice of Satan himself.
“Just give up.”
Read the depressing, untrue, and evil Atlantic article here; but don’t forget to come back, because this author would be irresponsible if he left you there. America’s Man’s Man’s stories always have a happy ending for this reason.
The late, great, “Zig” Ziglar, who perhaps articulated, if not epitomized the spirit of American success more than anyone else in the 20th century and beyond, said that it was a German Chancellor who instituted the concept of retirement, and he did so because he wanted to put his wisest, most connected political opponents out to pasture, and the world has been doing the same thing ever since.

Listen to Ziglar Articulate These Ideas From His Book
To this day, the Social Security Administration denies that retirement has been set up to encourage Americans to be less productive after a certain age, but we all know the truth about it. Just like the failed American Welfare State, retirement is “stinkin’ thinking.” And most of those who do retire generally feel depressed after just a couple short years of moving down to Florida. And small wonder – they have such wisdom to share, and they’re wasting away willfully.
