Epik Web Host Disrespects Intellectual Property Rights

Epik, the company famous for being a Web Sanctuary for Gab, appears to be tied a little too closely to the venture to be useful to anyone else.

I’ve been working with Epik as a development partner to the extent that they handle our hosting for the AmericasMansMan.com family of enterprises, including the flagship AmericasMansMan.com online magazine.

Why did I choose Epik? I chose Epik because it seemed like a great value proposition up front. My main concern which led me to choose Epik was Epik’s history of facilitating the security of Web data from the evil ideologues of Silicon Valley.

Well, as it turns out, the dark side of Epik’s business plan is that, by all accounts available to me at the moment, it has acted out a blatant disrespect for any and all of its clients’ trade secrets.

The biggest apparent offense, and the one that triggered the writing of this public notice, is that I sent a memo not more than a month ago to Epik’s engineers detailing development goals regarding a conservative news aggregator. I’m glad I didn’t fully articulate what makes my proprietary news aggregator better than all the rest, because, in a matter of weeks, Gab came out with its own news aggregator based on the principles and theory developed by AmericasMansMan.

The complete list of offenses yet unatoned for by epik as a Web Hosting Partner, and Prospective Development Partner, includes the following:

• Attempts By Epik To Co-Opt Potential Investors In AmericasMansMan.com Family Of Proprietary Web Developments
• Attempts By Epik To Co-opt The SocietyHub.org (ManHub.org and LadyHub.org) Properties Into Epik’s Extranet Service
• Possible Leaking Of Sensitive Proprietary Intellectual Property To Competitors Who Are Other Clients Of Epik
• Reckless, Unauthorized Repurposing Of AmericasMansMan.com Family Of Sites Marketing Verbiage In its Own Marketing Language
• Contradicting Its Purported Image As A “Safe Haven” From Competing Web Hosts, Thus Falsely Advertising The Security Of Client Data By Itself Posing An Intellectual Property Security Threat Materially Equal To Or Greater Than The Censorship Threat Posed By the FAANG Companies This Client Sought Refuge From
• Failing To Address These Intellectual Property Concerns, Including Flat-Out Refusal To Engage In Discussions And Negotiations Regarding All Of The Above And Other Intellectual Property Concerns By Client.
• All-around slow responsiveness in all Web Hosting issues as compared with popular Web Host competitors.
• Threatening the trust in all clients of AmericasMansMan.com and its family of ventures, including SocietyHub.org (ManHub.org/LadyHub.org)

The bottom line, if you know a good Intellectual Property Lawyer, I’d love to talk to him. And – if you know a Web Host which doesn’t censor its audience, and is an honest, true free-market capitalist when it comes to protecting intellectual property, and is not seeking to exploit clients’ intellectual property, and investor leads, for its own self-interested purposes, please let me know.

This public notice is not written in haste and is the result of a very thorough investigation of and usage of Epik Services over the span of a couple months.

Business ethics, along with the rest of American society, are suffering now more than ever largely due to the media-propagandized communism creeping into all aspects of American life. It is my hope that my calling attention to these errors by Epik may help them to correct course immediately or face all applicable legal consequences for breaching this client’s trust in their Web services, which this client speculates are largely due to Epik’s inexperience in serving clients of this magnitude, and the aforementioned generalized strain on American society and values in general.
